Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Janbox platform and services. By creating an account or using Janbox services, you agree to comply with these Terms.

  1. User Accounts Users are responsible for:
  • Providing accurate registration information.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • Ensuring all account activities comply with applicable laws. Janbox reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent, illegal, or prohibited activities.

  1. Proxy Buying & Auction Services Janbox acts solely as an intermediary that facilitates international purchases, payments, and logistics. Janbox is not the manufacturer or seller of the products listed on third-party websites. Product descriptions, images, specifications, pricing, and availability are provided by sellers and may change without notice.

  2. Payments Customers are responsible for paying all applicable fees, including:

  • Product price
  • Service fees
  • Domestic shipping within Japan
  • International shipping
  • Taxes and duties
  • Other applicable charges

  1. Prohibited Items Customers must not purchase or ship items prohibited by Japanese law, destination-country regulations, or Janbox policies. Janbox reserves the right to reject any prohibited transactions.

  2. Claims & Compensation Customers should inspect shipments immediately upon delivery. Claims must be submitted within the specified time limit together with sufficient supporting evidence. Approved compensation will be processed in accordance with the Janbox Compensation Policy.

  3. Refunds Refund requests are handled in accordance with Janbox's Refund Policy. Refund processing time depends on the payment method and financial institutions involved.

  4. Intellectual Property All trademarks, logos, website content, graphics, software, and intellectual property displayed on Janbox are owned by Janbox or its licensors. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

  5. Disclaimer Janbox shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or delay arising from the following circumstances:

  • Inaccurate or misleading information provided by the seller.
  • Force majeure events beyond Janbox's reasonable control.
  • Delays caused by customs authorities, shipping carriers, or government agencies.
  • Violations of Janbox's policies or applicable laws by the customer.

Counterfeit and Replica Products

Janbox's inspection service does not include authentication of products. Therefore, Janbox assumes no responsibility for verifying whether an item is genuine or counterfeit. When purchasing branded products through Proxy Shopping or participating in auctions for branded items through Auctions, customers are solely responsible for evaluating the authenticity of the products before placing an order or bid.

Product Functionality

Janbox does not test or inspect the functionality of electronic devices, machinery, or other products. Accordingly, Janbox is not responsible for any functional defects, mechanical issues, or performance problems discovered after the customer receives the item.

  1. Amendments Janbox may modify these Terms of Use at any time. The latest version will become effective immediately upon publication on the Janbox website
