Janbox lets you take part in online auctions in Japan and place bids on items from popular Japanese auction platforms. Whether you're after collectibles, rare finds, electronics, fashion items, or limited-edition products, Janbox helps you bid safely and ships your winnings anywhere in the world. This guide walks you through the entire bidding process, from choosing a bidding package to receiving your package. Step 1: Activate a Bidding Package Before you can start bidding, you'll need to activate a bidding package that suits your needs (in terms of number of bids, supported features, bid limits, etc.).

• How to check: Go to Bidding > tap Activate Now.
• How to activate: If the system shows no active package, select a suitable bidding package using one of the following payment/activation methods:
• Method 1 – Use a Credit Package: Choose between a Deposit Package (pay a refundable holding deposit upfront) or a Monthly Package (subscribe to a service that renews monthly).
• Method 2 – Use Points Balance: Activate a package directly using the Points currently available in your Janbox wallet.
• Method 3 – Use PayPal Balance: Connect and pay quickly via your personal PayPal account to activate a package.

Step 2: Search for Auction Items You can find auction items using one of the following 3 methods:

• Method 1: Search by keyword or product name directly in the Janbox search bar.
• Method 2: Copy the product link (URL) from JDirectItems Auction and paste it into the Janbox search bar.
• Method 3: Browse and select items by category directly within the app.

Step 3: Carefully Review Product Details To ensure safe bidding and avoid disappointment, carefully check the following before placing a bid:

• Product images: Look closely at the actual condition of the item. Avoid bidding on listings that use stock photos, illustration images, or overly blurry photos.
• Current bid details: Check the current bid price and the total number of bids placed so far.
• Seller reliability: Prioritize sellers with 300+ completed transactions and a positive rating of 90% or higher.

• Detailed description: Read carefully through the item's condition (new or used, any scratches or defects), size, color, included accessories, and return policy.

Step 4: Place Your Bid Once you've found the right item, follow these steps to place your bid:

1. Tap the "Place Bid" button.
2. Enter the maximum amount you're willing to pay for this item in the "Your Bid" field.
3. Fill in the accompanying order details, including: delivery address, international shipping method, additional services (if any), and payment method.
4. Check the box to agree to Janbox's Terms & Policies.
5. Tap "Confirm" to complete your bid. Step 5: Track Your Auction and Get the Results Once you've placed a bid, you can easily manage your auction:

• Track: Go to the Bidding section in your account to view your active auctions, follow their progress, or raise your bid if needed.
• Get results: When the auction ends, you'll win if you were the highest bidder. Janbox will send you a congratulatory notification email. 🔔 After winning an auction: Janbox will automatically generate an order and add it to Order Management in your account. Simply review it and proceed with payment.

Note: Janbox will charge a penalty fee of ¥2,500 per link if a customer cancels a won auction order without authorization.
